Citizen Nursery And Primary School aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
BASIC CLASSES
Classes conducted:
L.K.G, U.K.G & 1st to 5th standard.
Schools Uniforms
- Wearing uniform is compulsory on all class days except Saturdays.
- School uniforms books & note books, shoes and will be supplied by the school.
- Uniforms must be clean, hair well combed, nails well-trimmed and shoes well-polished.
- Non-compliance of these points are sufficient reason to send the child back home during the school hours.
- Special attention of the parents is requested on these matters.
Examination and Promotion
- Progress of the pupils is assessed by internal and external assessment.
- Test and examination are periodically conducted and reports send to the parents for scrutiny on the academic performance of the children.
- Parents are requested to take necessary follow-up action by meeting the headmistress or the concerned subject teachers and follow their suggestions.
- Pupils who absent themselves from the examination without proper reasons will be considered as failed.
- No re-exam will be conducted for any absentee.
- No appeal will be entertained once the results are announced after the annual exam.
- If any students is found lacking in the ability to cope with the work load of the next higher class, he/she will be allowed to repeat one or two more years in the same class, If found unfit to take up the next higher class, Transfer certificate will be issued along with the result.
- No leave will be granted during the examination days.
Attendance:
- Pupils must try to put 100% attendance during the academic year. In this regard we expect the full co-operation of the parents/guardians, Pupils with inadequate attendance will not be allowed to appear for the annual examination.
- Pupils must be punctual to class every day. Leave is to be applied for in advance through the school hand-book.
- Working days are Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
- No school business transaction on holidays.
- The pupils should be present on all days, especially on closing and reopening dates of vacation.
- Pupils are not allowed to meet parents, visitors or leave the school premises during school hours, without the permission of the Headmistress.
Working Hours:
- 8:30a.m. to 12.30p.m 1.30p.m. to 4.00p.m.
Special requested to parents/guardians:
- No school can achieve its optimum result without the co-operation of the parents. Parent’s responsibility dose not cease with admission of the children into the school. They are only sharing a part of their responsibility with the school management. Hence, parents are requested to go through the handbook carefully, acquaint themselves well with the rules and regulation of the school and ensure that their children abide by them. Courtesy, good manners, honest, hand-book, good behaviour are all to be developed and maintained by the efforts of the parents.
- Parents are welcome to meet the Headmistress or the concerned subject’s teachers as often as possible to know the progress of their children.
- When parent-teacher meeting are arranged, parents must attend them without fail, meet the concern teachers and discuss their children’s performance.
- Parents are requested to look into the school hand-book daily to see the homework given or for some remarks sent to them and see that the students complete the home-work.
- Parents are requested to make use of the school hand-book to send their suggestion or remarks to the teachers.

COMPUTER COURSE TUTORIALS FOR CLASS (3-5)

ADMISSION
TERMS OF ADMISSION AND WITHDRAWAL:
- Admission are normally made to L.K.G, and U.K.G., Classes
- Application form will be issued at the school office. The application form must be carefully filled and submitted to the school office within 7 days from the date of issue.
- An admission test will be conducted for those seeking admission
- Pupils who absent themselves from the Examination without proper reasons will be considered as failed.
- Admission for U.K.G., 1st to 5th,standard are made only as and when vacancies occur
- Issue of application form does not guarantee admission.
- The school authorities have the right to reject any application.
- Either the parents or guardians must accompany pupils for admission and must sing the prescribed admission form and pledge themselves to abide by the rules and regulation of the school.
- No certification (of any kind) will be issued to anyone who has no paid the fees in full.
- If the parent wishes to withdraw the child from the school, he should a written application to the headmistress. Transfer certificate will be issue on payment of all dues to the school if a student is withdraw in the middle of the term, the parent will be asked to pay the fees for the whole term.
